More Christmas Windows

Image
We are enjoying the very last days of autumn. And they are indeed splendid. Juliet and I deem ourselves lucky to not be at work, and rushed to IFC rooftop, (well, not really the ROOF) to enjoy the last remains of the day. While the rest of Hong Kong is shopping till they are dropping... The newly-opened Harvey Nichols store in Pacific Place is doing their dirty laundry in public: Tomorrow, I will show you the angels in the mall.

Christmas Windows and Streets

The switch from Halloween to Christmas is immediate. Hong Kong is transformed into a Winter Wonderland, despite the balmy weather. Sort of, weather from George combined with snowy decorations from America. In Hong Kong. The ultimate cultural fusion. IFC Mall Zara  City Super Mandy and I have a Christmas morning tradition: Panettone and JC le Roux Red Champagne, drunk in her garden, down by the duck pond.   Amidst purple Agapanthus. I love this little mini Panettone! L'Occitane Possibly the North American contingent, maybe Australian. They were out in full force! Taken from bus 722, somewhere in Causeway Bay Outside my flat I will put up my Christmas tree, as soon as the weather changes.
