Vibrant Veggies

Image
Earlier this week the midday temperature was only 9 degrees in Hong Kong. We hadn't seen the sun for weeks. Only fog, smog, clouds, rain and humidity. I went to the wet market next to my school to get a sinful lunch of oily Fried Flat Beef Noodles with lots of green onions and sprouts, all smothered in a rich, smoky sauce. It's dangerous to have this meal for lunch (or any other time of the day) because one is comatose for about 2 hours afterwards. But my visit to the market instantly lifted my spirits. The veggies were competing for my attention. yummmmmmmmmm
