Wake up and smell the lilacs

I recently made my own lavender-infused honey
and saved myself $100.

However, I do think this French lavender honey was made by
the lucky bees who actually live in the lavender fields of Provence.

One day, I will go there myself.
to 
look
smell
taste
and feel the breeze on my skin.

A walk through Quarry Bay Park

The Western entrance of Quarry Bay Park is right outside my flat. These Strelitzias, however are in a flower bed just before you go through the gates. I am very tempted. A Once through the gates, a riot of colour awaits... Petunias always take me back to my first ever garden in Pretoria. I planted them amongst my roses, under the Jacaranda trees.
